Welcome

The Globe is an ´Interzuilaire´ language school for foreign-language children in Enschede and the surrounding area. Interzuilair means that the school has been established as a partnership of the Public Education, Vereniging Christelijk Onderwijs and Stichting Katholiek Onderwijs Enschede.

Who are our students?

IOK de Globe receives children from all over the world who do not yet speak the Dutch language. This means that each child brings its own background, culture and religious conviction from the country of origin. It is nice to learn from each other and live together in the Netherlands. For many children, Dutch culture is a first introduction to a culture that they do not yet know.

Vocabulary education

Every day our students receive vocabulary education. We offer the Dutch words in themes such as; winter, living, the zoo, growing and thriving etc. The pupils are given a homework sheet every day with the words so that they can practice at home.

Na 1 jaar hebben onze leerlingen zoveel geleerd, dat ze uit kunnen stromen naar een vervolgschool.
